Piermarco : I cannot understand how it's possible to click "I don't like" to this amazing perform! Perlman is the music, he's the violin!!
David Goldberg : The great tragedy is that Beethoven only composed a single violin concerto. It was not well received initially and then not until after his death. It is one of the most beautiful pieces of music every created, and Perlman plays effortlessly and with infectious joy. If I only had one piece of classical music to listen to, this would be it.
Carolyn Etter : The high notes on his violin are just like a bird singing.
Carol Gibson : One of the world's great violinists of all time playing one of the world's great composers of all time, sublime!
Louise Clark : That smile on Perlman's face- a man who truly loves his 'work'. Just stunning...

BEETHOVEN Concerto for Violin and Orchestra - Hilary Hahn, violin; Leonard Slatkin, conductor

Samuel Ng : That vibrato is stronger than my will to live
JustLtotheM : If anyone is looking for a specific movement, here you go :D
00:42 first movement (Allegro ma non troppo)
25:13 second movement (Larghetto)
34:24 third movement (Rondo: Allegro)
47:07 Encore: Bach Partita No.3 Gigue
Benjamin Berard : Even for Hilary Hahn - the most captivating violinist alive today - and a concerto that has been performed many, MANY thousands of times, she truly outdoes herself here. This is the most elegant, breathtaking Beethoven Concerto I have ever heard; the fluency with which she is able to let the solo line unspool, uninterrupted through numerous moods and technical hurdles with absolute control amounts to something profoundly transcendent.
verbose0 : This isn't just "playing music." It's a true interpretation of art and soul. My gratitude extentends to the entire orchestra. Absolutely Magnificent.
Sumina Studer : What an absolute QUEEN

Kyung Wha Chung plays Beethoven Violin Concerto (1989)

Kyung-Wha Chung's monumental performance of Beethoven's masterpiece with formidable Klaus Tennstedt and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam in 1989.
Here we see an artist at the top of her game. Everything that made Kyung-Wha Chung a 1st tire violinist a couple of decade ago is all there; technical accuracy, fiery presence, intense concentration, and pure silvery beauty of the tone, but now the mature artist balances and mingles them seemingly at total ease all to the service of the music. The result is this performance of superb details, incredible beauty and engaging drama.

Nick Roberts : the best version I've ever listened to...
song kim : Her facial expression, submerged in to the Beethoven’s heart. Best of the best.
The Rose. Chun : 1997, I went to see her concert in Detroit, Michigan and was introduced to her after her hours of play at back stage. She was rather small frame, but had very strong will-power, passionated with piercing eyes. It’s very memorable encounter and still have a photos with her. Her talent was more valued and appreciated in America and Europe than in Korea. Wish her very healthy and happy New year! 2021. ♥️♥️♥️
VanQ : Thank you for uploading this video. It brought tears to my eyes. So passionate, yet so lyrical. Such appreciation to the music itself. Words fail to capture the beauty of this performance.
